Finally starting to make a comeback on DA, been way to long, been way to busy with other things. Kinda had a slump in shooting lately. Haven't been feeling artistic lately, or maybe its that I was never very artistic in general and just know how to frame a shot. My camera gear has been sitting on the shelf collecting dust, with the occasional casual shoot.

I recently got an iPhone, and am a big fan of the BestCamera App, [link] Been shooting quite a bit with the iPhone lately, and I guess you could say its helping me to be a bit more artistic. I made an iShots gallery on my page you can see here: [link]

Needless to say, with my busy life this helps me stay in touch with photography and hopefully once I go back to school for photography in 2 months that will further motivate me. Until then I have my phone, and on another note, My lens should be back from Sigma soon, woohoo!


I think my real problem is im lazy, I just need to get out there.

Been a while huh? I've been super busy with work and such lately, projects and other things, and it will only get worse, or better? I have but 5 months left till I start school in the winter. I'll be going to the Art Institute of Seattle for a degree in photography, while also still trying to work full time, that will be fun, wish me luck! Ha.

Seems like I've been spending less time on here for a few reasons, I've been working on my webpage quite a bit, I think i finally got it ot where i want it, so that's good. The other reason is that I've had some major color management problems on my screen and I've been kinda down with editing and such because they have started looking all wonky on other browsers and computers. I took color management off for now, seemed to work fine for me before I had a Spyder Express so we'll see how things look now. I really need to send in some prints to WHCC to get printed to see how things are looking on their end, and possibly further educate myself on ICC profiles and all that...stuff...

I have so much stuff I still need to do, starting with organizing bookmarks! It's INSANE. Then I can get some pictures in order I've been wanting to submit to various websites.

But not in this journal, but wow, 12,000, thanks everyone, means a lot. To all you people who check out my work, let it be known I just got back from another WWII Simulation, and you can bet I'll be posting quite a few more up here in the coming weeks. Also try and get my review up of my cheapo Chinese lens collar for my 70-200 i picked up for 15 bucks, lol. and finally get some pictures up of my new Yashica 127 TLR film camera??

Oh and im on a caffeine binge, going cold turkey... decided to do this after watching supersize me. Im a manager at a movie theater, unlimited soda, its hard. Doing good so far, haven't felt this great in a while, no crashes!

Oh and did I say i was featured in a book?! im exited, pictures will be had when i get my copies.

I was contacted on myspace of all sites earlier this week and apparently someone stole a bunch of my images. Even more disturbing is that the pictures were being used on a brand new myspace page depicting My model and friend as herself. The images in question were from a cowgirl shoot I did a few months back and you can view some of them below and at my flickr link: [link] Still no idea where exactly they got the,, coulda been flickr, either what kind of sick idiot steal someones identity for a damn myspace profile. I'm currently trying to get myspace to delete her account, and also get my pictures off her fake brothers page.



Leaves me wondering if I should start putting huge watermarks on my photos now, at least something more. I'm surprised the ones on the fake myspace page still contained my small watermark in the lower right corner. I'm cleaning out my friends on myspace after this is resolved I just hope they didnt get them from flickr, otherwise ill have to start marking my photos with my new watermark ive been using on DA.

If you happen to see any of my cowgirl photos being used on another webpage without my permission, id be eternally grateful if you told me.
